In October 2013, Donna was invited to speak at the International Custody and Caring conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

This is a forum for highlighting innovations in practice, education, research, and policy development in the field of forensic mental health and correctional health care in Canada and throughout the world. Clinical issues and work life issues unique to nurses, health care professionals and other professionals working within forensic mental health and correctional environments are featured.

Donna spoke on the Professional Identity of Nurses in the Criminal Justice System, in the UK.

Afterwards she flew to Vancouver and had a wonderful week with Luke and Tamara. On one particular day, they took Donna zip wiring across the mountain forests.
